Questions from parents, answered honestly.

No jargon, no sales pitch — just the things you actually want to know before you start.

Is kit.link safe to use?

Yes. kit.link requires no account and no password. The only personal data we ever store is an email address you provide voluntarily — so you can receive your kit link and milestone reminders you asked for. Kits are public by design: anyone with the link can view one, but nothing is tied to your identity.

How does claiming a gifted kit work?

When someone gifts you a kit, they pay and you receive a personal claim link by email. Open the link, enter your name and email, and the kit is bookmarked to you. A magic link is sent to your inbox so you can return any time — no password ever required.

Will my email address be shared or sold?

Never. Your email is used only to send you your kit link and any milestone reminders you specifically requested. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties.

How do I redeem items in a kit?

Each item in a kit has a direct link to the shop or product page. Click "View" on any item to open it in the retailer's site. kit.link is a curator, not a store — we help you discover the right things; buying happens directly with the seller.

What if I don't use everything in the kit?

Kits are curated guides, not obligations. Every family's journey is different — keep what fits your moment and skip anything that doesn't. You can always come back and build your own kit around exactly what you need.
